Windriders Band is a 4-person band that plays a diverse range of music, including country, classic rock, and blues. Formed in 1995, the band has had 5 different versions, with the current lineup consisting of Daniel Johns, Joe England, Norman Wolsey, and Josh Westervelt. Windriders Band takes their music seriously, writing and recording their own original music, as well as performing covers. They have released singles for radio play and across all digital platforms throughout the years, and this current version of the band is no different.

Windriders was formed in fort Scott Kansas in 1995 when Daniel Johns ,Tom Graham, Jesse Kemp got together. This was the 1st generation of the band they wrote original songs and played anywhere that would let them in also released songs on radio and supported non profit organizations like food pantries and battered women shelters

was started about a year later with the addition of Glen Reynolds pictured and Jim Sessions not pictured continued to play southeast kansas and missouri for serveral more years. life happened and Daniel Johns moved to middle of missouri with then new wife Patty and the band took a break to have a few children

Started when Daniel Johns, David Kruger, and Todd Jackson began playing again they released the song On Bended Knees and played a ton of festivals all over missouri life happened again and some members where needed at home

Windriders Gen 4 started with Daniel Johns ,Carl Berryman, and Jermey Barnett. they spent a lot of time in the studio and did play several festivals and corporate events and at few Bar's Carl Berryman passed away and Daniel Johns moved back to southeast Kansas

Formed on 2-28-2024 in Girard Kansas when Daniel Johns , Joe England ,Norman Wolsey and Josh Westervelt formed what i hope is the final Windriders band they all play multiple instruments they take their music seriously but not themselves
